Headphones, certain types of music, gymnastics straps, knee sleeves, lifting shoes, belts, etc. More and more I’m seeing athletes relying on gadgets and tools to make them a better athlete. So keep that in mind and remember, it starts with you.įit Tip – All you need is yourself. Since you care about your health and fitness and you move towards that daily, the people closest to you are also positively impacted by your passion for health and fitness! Now the best part! You are creating a ripple effect towards people that you haven’t met. If someone is in an environment where their friends smoke and are over weight, studies show that that person will likely be or end up the same if they stay in that environment. It’s 12 degrees outside, wear long pants and long sleeves even though you’re working out inside. Many years into CrossFit now, I’m starting to realize how much my warm up can affect my workout. I can’t tell you how many workouts or strength sessions have been wasted because of a rushed warm up or just skipping a warm up all together. Sometimes other things need to be corrected before you can improve yourself and move forward.įit Tip – Be WARM! Priming your engine is always a great idea. We all need to honest and responsible with how much we try to bite off. Without taking down the stress levels the diet simply isn’t going to work.
